    Certainly, if she still can make that decision validly, it would be worth doing so ASAP.


    Some people go in and out of lucidity.
    one issue we’ve come across is that solicitors can be risk averse and sometimes won’t touch cases like this, although one does not need a solicitor for LPA.
    I would note that COP is arduous, slow and costly (having done it).
    I did it pre pandemic and it was 6 months + and that’s a long time if a house sale is waiting for it.
