It is indeed. thanks for sharing! It's been a while since we had any in our garden despite trying to make it welcoming in winter and summer.I do have THREE baby seagulls on my tiny flat roof. I'm not sure it's a privilege though haha.3

How lovely. We used to get nightly visitors as our people locally have them resident in their garden. Noisy though!1

@Soot2006 I had two following me round the garden last year, took a while for the parents to realise I wasn't going to harm them. Sadly only one made it.
This year I've one pet gull and again I'm building trust with the parents.
Resisting the urge to feed / water it, to ensure survival, but have to let nature run its course.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Lovely little family! Our hedgies know that we put (cat) food and water out for them every night, but they only seem to have a couple of hoglets.

How sweet, what a privilege to see them. My friend has a hog house with a night camera in it, assembled after she'd had a few hog visits to her garden, she's hooked. We have a camera blue tit box, over the years have loved watching parents raise their little ones, though always a few lost, such is nature.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.3

Absolute joy to have wild animals trusting you. Tempting as it is to pet them I won’t touch them, don’t want them to loose that instinct for survival. Feed them twice a day with cat biscuits dropped in front of their noses, with water nearby. Did a google search so no bread, milk, or mealworms.

Looks like Mrs piggy didn’t come home last night. The young one’s have been a bit defensive today, not looking good. Hope she hasn’t dumped them on me.

please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
