Girls deposited at school.
Much cooler here at the moment and a bit overcast which is perfect as Twinkle has a school trip so I am happier it not being bright and sunny.
I am achieving nothing today my right hip is agony today and I have spent most of the day growling at people because I am in pain.. I really hate my body.. it should not be this broken.

Twinkles pocket sewn back onto her school cardigan.. I couldn't be bothered to walk into the other room and find the navy thread.. so I sewed in it yellow and coloured it in with a sharpie..
Many useless ineffective medications taken..
Cuppa slurped and crisps munched.. again, they we next to my chair and required no walking.
Flung my stinky self in the shower before bed last night so one less thing to do this morning.
OH is after going to buy trellis.. I really need to go too so fill the freezer a little but I don't think I can walk that far. I would really love a mobility scooter it would make a massive difference to my life.. being about to just go and do things without having to hurt myself further.. school runs would be a breeze.. I would feel a right banana though.

Morning all
another sticky night - yeuch - and I can't wear deodorant etc
This morning I washed myself. I've emptied the DW. Washing to peg out.
I am now in a size smaller bra than I was yesterday - so the one I was wearing can go in the wash. Not sure what to do with it once it is washed. Oooh - I can send it to smalls for all...it will pass as 'gently worn'.

Happy birthday (belated) Jazee.
Glad to hear post-operative people are doing well.
So far today I have only been for a gym swim and coffee with 'the girls', put bathroom recycling in the appropriate box, sent a thank you card to SIL who we had lunch with yesterday. Today's plan:
- while not horrendously untidy, I notice every room in the house has several items which below elsewhere. I will relocate them.
- start tax return
- give some thought to updating my will as one or two of my chosen charities are now less attractive than previously.
- do a significant amount of drum practice
I'm stopping there otherwise I risk spending more time listing than actually flying..........Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -

- lounge/diner: actually only my lunch mug and plate to put away. The dining table is covered in lists, NT/open garden brochures, maps etc while we are planning for next week's hols, so I'm not putting them away.
- Kitchen: ah. Saw drops of rain so rushed out and retrieved towel and swimsuit from line, took upstairs.
Used the last of the flowers and foliage (left over from church/SIL arrangements) to cobble together an arrangement for the lounge. That resulted in 2 buckets, scissors, knife, 2 empty oasis trays retrieved from church, green tape, 3 sachets of plant food, 2 elastic bands and my plant cutting board all being put back in their respective cupboard/drawer. Also resulted in sweeping the floor as it had lots of leaves on it. Emptied compost bin of stalks/leaves.
Emptied bumbag I'd taken to London yesterday and put away mask, sanitiser, purse and the actual bumbag. Put shopping bag I'd used to carry SIL's arrangement into the boot of the car where it lives.
Emptied 'everyday' handbag which was on kitchen worktop and put away various hair clips/bands, threw away old receipts. Hung handbag up.
Used an old receipt to write down meter readings so have just input them to E0n and put on my database. Deleted E0n email and associated entry from the 'to-do' list on my computer.
* brief pause to remove panic-struck young starling which just landed on my study windowsill and came inside*
Emptied cake tin which had remains of one old rhubarb slice, put it and crumbs next to bird table which led to large flapping and squawking picnic of about 20 young starlings.
Wiped kitchen worktops as they are now fairly clear.
Have come upstairs now and thinking of changing task via a cup of tea!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Narc0, that’s an epic list!In a fit of coolness earlier this morning, I vacuumed downstairs and cleaned the downstairs toilet. I intended to quickly vacuum upstairs, and clean the ensuite. Intention is where that lot stayed.
Went clothes shopping for DH, worse than taking a toddler shopping. Rallied support / sympathy from DD via text and promptly got sympathy - and a shopping list for b00ts. Hmmmm. Stopped DH from unnecessarily thinking that he needed coffee, as that would have led to lunch out too. Picked up a veg box in Mr L, so lots of lovely tomatoes, and I have also made a box of coleslaw and one of waldorf salad to go with salad lunches for the week.Dh’s new clothes are now dumped on the “craft table” in the spare room. To be tidied up in his own time, I expect…thank goodness this clothes shopping experience is a rare event.
Grey, hot and muggy here. Absolutely horrid.7
