Probate application chase

The only reason to get 'worked up' is when my request for HMCTS contact details spurs others to tell me what a wonderful experience they've had!
It's contact details I asked about.0 -
That's not what happened. I simply corrected another poster's argument that this sort of poor service from HMTCS was the norm when clearly he has no real evidence to support that either way. I apologise if this was off topic to your original post, no offence was meant but at the end of the day this is a public forum and I'm entitled to make comment so long as it's within forum rules.GaryBC said:The only reason to get 'worked up' is when my request for HMCTS contact details spurs others to tell me what a wonderful experience they've had!

Yes, and I pointed out that it has no relevance to the original question.
But you guys carry on arguing amongst yourselves, I'm off!0 -

Ok peeps, here's something to keep us occupied while I'm waiting to get hold of HMCTS...
As part of their 'on hold' recording they say they can't issue probate until inheritance tax is paid. How on earth does one pay inheritance tax without access to the estate if the estate can't be accessed until probate is granted! Discuss...
(Doesn't apply in my case as there's no inheritance tax to pay, but I thought it'd be fun to chuck it in here and watch the feeding frenzy!)

You can ask the deceased's bank (if there are sufficient funds available) to make a direct payment. If not enough funds are available immediately then payments can be made in instalments for up to 10 years.GaryBC said:Ok peeps, here's something to keep us occupied while I'm waiting to get hold of HMCTS...

As you say this doesn't apply to you but if all you're trying to do is promote some sort of heated discussion then that's the very definition of trolling and I'd suggest you take it elsewhere as this particular forum isn't the place for it. There's nothing "fun" to discuss in this forum.0 -
And if it's all tied up in assets that can't be traded without probate?shiraz99 said:
