Or is that not something considered / discussed here?

This was helpful to see but may be a bit complicated for me.  I have money in funds which is managed (and fee paid!). Im here to see a best rate from 'banks' for other money without paying a fee or management charge.  Thanks though.  Now where is the next 5%+ with integrity - that passes on any new rate rises to loyal holders.

I am reticent to use cynergy again as they do not pass on interest rate rises during 95day account.  Will probably put into one of the good easy access accounts (Coventry 4.5%; Oxbury 4.46) for a week or two to see if others move their accounts to 5%+

CHIP has also moved its easy access up to 4.51% and is another good option.

Are you sure, the T&C's say
"We pay interest on a variable rate. This means your interest rate may change while you have the account. It may go up or down. We'll tell you about any changes to the Interest rate by email. "

The key word there is 'may'. Judging by Burcot's statement, it would appear they aren't doing this as often (or increasing the rate by as much) as you would expect.

don't think it's been mentioned yet (but without my email notifications, I have less clue as to what's going on here!), but RCI have increased their 95-Day Notice from 4.85% to 5.10% AER.

This is the trouble with Issues, they are just to fiddle the consumer. That's why I admire Investec, no Issues, every invester gets the same rate.

Cynergy did not pass on the rise in rate and I was stuck with the much lower rate and without a way out until end of term.  Whilst I would like their new rate I have moved (17/7) all the money from them to easy access account and will wait a week or two to see what fixed rate (90 day) accounts do.

Should be top of the charts now? Are RCI Bank electric car financiers?
