for those that have the FirstSave 90 Day Notice (Jun23) account, I was reading the t&c and it says you can make immediate withdrawals but at a cost (seemingly based on the amount and 90-day's interest at the current rate).i'm curious as to whether, on the withdrawal page, it tells you what the cost would be of withdrawing immediately - i'm assuming it must do.1

Very good indeed. They don’t do the “new issue at a higher rate milarkey” at all. Everyone gets the new rate and they’ve increased it very often, usually every month, since the BoE rate has been rising. They are currently above the BoE rate which is fantastic. I’ve been very happy with them.Wheres_My_Cashback said:How good are BLME at passing on rate increases on their notice accounts ?1 -

Still this is a refreshingly good account as not only is it the highest paying at this time, it also doesn't have the annoying issue numbers so will likely reflect a good rate consistently. Also, as you say one of the less common types that allow immediate access for a penalty. HTB only offering 4.2%. Can get better in easy access accounts now. Stuck until end of 95 days.....unless they raise rate and pass on to holders hmm1

Something I noticed a few days ago illustrating your point about EA accounts...... Cynergy's EA at 4.30% beating their own 35 Day Notice Acc at 4.25% ....... ?Burcot said:HTB only offering 4.2%. Agree, on HTB have also invested, but now wish I'd selected a bank that was better at passing on rate improvements (pretty key).
For what it's worth the latest issue of the 95 day saver pays 4.3%. If you have the prior issue that pays 4.2% you can just email them and they'll switch, in a day or two.1 -
Cynergy 95-Day is now 5.10% - though I suppose your notice account with them mirror what you need to do with their EA accounts, e.g setup new account and then close & transfer the existing account (with I guess the full notice period) ?aaj123 said:

Yes I am also 'stuck' with Cynergy with old interest rate too. Although that account ends 17/7 so can transfer into another 5% acount with a better reputation for passing on interest rate early to holders.0

Will Cynergy not transfer funds to a new notice account and close the old one on request?Burcot said:Yes I am also 'stuck' with Cynergy with old interest rate too.
