SuzzleBumpkin said:Does anyone have any experience with cancelling a notice to close an account with Zopa or Flagstone (Allica Bank)? I got fed up with their very slow reaction to previous BoE rate increases. They’re both competitive again now so I’m thinking of cancelling the closure notices. Is it straightforward to cancel the notice? In the case of Zopa, if it was a 95 day pot, would you not be better opening new pots with a £1 balance(eg one every few weeks) and not cancelling a notice to close on your present pot but instead transferring the balance on to each new pot in turn. This way you are not locked in for up to 95 days. Then you would be able to withdraw reasonably quickly if their rate becomes uncompetitive again.0

Yes. I think you’re right. But I was fed up with them at the time. In hindsight it would have been better just to transfer it to my other pot rather than close the account completely.0

ZOPA have a limit of £85k too.0

Has anyone tried funding an OakNorth account via the instant funds transfer system on the app and, if so, did it go smoothly? Each time I open a new account with them and fund it through the normal banking transfer I get referred to Lloyds fraud team and spend half an hour to get it unblocked despite the fact they can see I already have other accounts with OakNorth.

There seems to be a slowing down of interest rate rises, after a 'relatively' lively period. Anyone spot anything over 3.1 or 2% for an easy access account?0
