I opened one with £1 last week, so I rang them today and was advised that it's just the new issue (2) on which they've reduced the rate, and that if they reduce the rate on issue 1, they give 90 days notice plus 14 days from when you opened the account before they'd reduce the rate. I'm now thinking of adding to it, as the other 90 day notice accounts aren't near the 3.40% it offers.SuzzleBumpkin said:I was considering the Oxbury 90 day @ 3.4%. Glad I decided against it. That’s interesting. Thanks for sharing. 🙂10_66 said:

I have an inkling the 3.4% 90-day one won't last much longer as I know quite a few people who deposited substantial amounts. I would get it now if you are contemplating it.10_66 said:

It had already been withdrawn when I posted above. As mentioned, I had already opened Issue 1 with just £1, but had been waiting (hopefully) for someone else to (at least) match it, before adding to it.Band7 said:

Investec 90 day upto 2.90% from 2.55
Not great, was hoping for more. Have some on notice for this week, may have to move to Oxbury if still available.2 -

I opened an Oxbury 90-Day Notice (Issue 1) account on the 11th @ 3.40% and I must say that i've been impressed by them... if I had read Trustpilot first, I might not have bothered - but my experience with them so far doesn't tally with the responses there.the site requires fingerprint to be enabled on my phone, but i've never had a problem logging in... adding funds from my nominated account arrive at Oxbury in seconds (and I literally mean seconds and not minutes).the current issue 1 has been withdrawn, but as 10_66 said, they'll give notice of a change in the rate of issue 1 (which they haven't yet) - chatting with them today, that notice will be by email - so i'll be paid 3.4% until the end of February at least.i've got two other notice accounts closing in the next two months, and currently I am expecting to pay both balances into this Oxbury notice account.1

I didn’t think to open an account with just a pound then wait and see, like @10_66 because I didn’t imagine they’d drop the rate ten minutes later. I find Oxbury’s decision making a bit weird and unpredictable, which I’m not keen on. I’ll give it 3 weeks or so then decide where to put my cash. I have more cash come free in January. I think we’ll see some nice interest rate rises coming into the new year.janusdesign said:I opened an Oxbury 90-Day Notice (Issue 1) account on the 11th @ 3.40% and I must say that i've been impressed by them... if I had read Trustpilot first, I might not have bothered - but my experience with them so far doesn't tally with the responses there.the site requires fingerprint to be enabled on my phone, but i've never had a problem logging in... adding funds from my nominated account arrive at Oxbury in seconds (and I literally mean seconds and not minutes).the current issue 1 has been withdrawn, but as 10_66 said, they'll give notice of a change in the rate of issue 1 (which they haven't yet) - chatting with them today, that notice will be by email - so i'll be paid 3.4% until the end of February at least.i've got two other notice accounts closing in the next two months, and currently I am expecting to pay both balances into this Oxbury notice account.
