If you are in Scotland or NI then provide that address and tell them to erase the English address.

You will never get a claim in Scotland or NI and it will be scam over.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon-mad, I am in NI. Are you saying they won't be able to pursue here? That'd be great news as I'm a woman of a certain age and my brain is so fuddled reading through the threads.... :(

    Yes!

You are nailed on 100% safe the minute you prove your address in NI and tell them to erase your old address. You should have told us earlier!

Thank you Coupon-mad, that's fabulous news. I sold up in Birmingham at end of 2022, and have staying with different family in NI while trying to buy. Only just got my own place though, so now dealing with this. Have sent a CoA to Gladstones re. LBC. Am now writing a CoA letter and SAR to EPS as can't find an email address. Unsurprisingly the don't have a data protection page on their website!

I assume I can still take part in the consultation though? Will keep checking in to see about that.

Cheers, from a very happy person :)

Well I am surprised you couldn't find their Privacy Policy on their website.

At the foot of every page on their website you will see this...

    Clicking on Policies will show...

Click on Privacy Policy and you will be taken to a webpage which includes this line...

thanks KeithP, not sure how I could have missed that! I actually read the bit on Child Protection and skim read the Charity page... This is why I'm so relieved that the move to NI means it won't proceed as relying on my capacity to challenge it at the moment would be dubious :(

Hi KeithP, just sent a SAR & CoA email to that email address but got an automatic 'email undeliverable' reply as 'user unknown'. Appears that email address isn't valid...

I've just used their 'contact us' page and sent them the following...

    Hello.
I have just tried to send an email to your Data Protection Officer.
I used the email address found in your Privacy Policy - dpo@europarkingservices.com - but got an automatic 'email undeliverable' reply as 'user unknown'. Appears that email address isn't valid.
Please can you advise a suitable email address for your DPO.
    Regards, xxxxxxxxxxx.

You might want to do the same.
  • Thanks KeithP, that's a great idea. Will do that now.

    Cheers

I've received an automated response to my email to EPS.

Whilst it makes no attempt to address your problem - it being a weekend - it does offer an email address for enquiries - info@europarkingservices.com
