Ask in the appeal for them to check for a keying error or keypad failure as mentioned in the press, where Rockpool was named and shamed:

Attach a copy of the photo of the Parkeon machines that are causing this.

Okay, I actually found a direct email address for their appeals department in the Daily Mail article, so I've emailed them the appeal template from the NEWBIES post, and added a part about their failure to comply with POFA. I also bought up the recent press coverage, pointing out that the Rockpool is one of these offending sites where the machines have been configured to scam people out of money, and told them I require that they check for a keying error or keypad failure.

I guess I just wait and see what happens next.

    Thanks everyone for your help.

Unfortunately I was unable to do so through their website, most likely due to the fact it's been over 21 days. I can send a letter as well.

In that case, I would send an appeal by post as well. Send it first class from a Post Office counter, and make sure you obtain the all important free proof of posting.

Whenever you send anything by email, send it to yourself as well.

My friend's Rockpool one just got cancelled at IAS stage.

Armtrac offered no contest. My friend did include the photo of the dodgy machine from the Daily Mail article.

This is not over.  Complaints will be escalated.

If you are near enough, can you go to Polzeath and do the same warnings in Alliance Parking car parks please?

Horrendous company that refuses to let registered keepers appeal, but is happy to hold them liable and sue them.

The IPC say that's perfectly OK.

Imagine my surprise, especially given the notorious guy who runs Alliance (used to run AS Parking) is on the IPC Board of 'people':

    Mouse007, now that's what I call a fightback.

If possible, please also tell people about the forthcoming public consultation on parking fees, and the fact that PPCs want to increase them (from the amount the government has quoted) and then to add on fake additional amounts that they haven't incurred. Warn them that without public involvement, parking charges could go up to £170 a pop.

£200 in London, and any other tickets with a base price of £130!
