Levi Jean's incorrect leg measurement

Thank you for looking.
I bought a pair of levi jeans around 8 weeks ago and have only just wore them. They are a 32 length leg , my usual length, upon wearing them I found they were too short, so I measured them and they are in fact a good inch to short, measuring just under 31 inches.
Would I be within my rights to return them?
Thank you

You haven't told us where or how you bought them. But generally speaking, yes if they don't correspond with the description then you have a right to a refund/replacement.1

I bought them from a Levis shop and will be returning them today, I just needed some assurance i would be within my rights, they were sold and described as 32 inch leg, so I think I may have a leg to stand on! excuse the pun.0 -

Are they the same design of jean as you normally wear?
Different styles (model numbers) might have variances in actual leg length for the same stated leg length. 725 have a different lower end point than 312, for example.
FWIW, I recently had a concern with Levi jeans and the customer service was fantastic - I actually had a thread on here.2 -
Thank you, I do wear diffent style's.I will check that out , but I would have thought that wouldn't make any difference.Grumpy_chap said:Are they the same design of jean as you normally wear?

Glad to hear they were fantastic with you, I tried to contact customer service but they are not available today.0 -
What leg measurement is on the patch behind the belt loops and on the label inside the jeans?
As others have said, I wouldn't be at all surprised if different styles have differing actual leg lengths for a stated 32" leg.
I also wouldn't necessarily expect the stated leg length to correspond too closely to a tape measure...1 -

Are those pairs of jeans different styles, if they are you can't really compare like that.2 -
Thank you... they are a 32 and where as I wouldn't expect them to be dead on, I wouldn't expect to be that much difference.Manxman_in_exile said:What leg measurement is on the patch behind the belt loops and on the label inside the jeans?
