Smarty does, they're part of the Three network.dllive said:
I did not know that!molerat said:
You also then need to make sure your chosen mobile provider supports wifi calling. Some of the MVNOs, Plusnet for instance, do not.dllive said:Thanks @matelodave . Ill be using wifi calling when at home. So its really only when Im out-and-about that signal is important. Ill have a look now.

Yes ,very annoying; my PN mobile SIM is ultra cheap but the signal inside the house is not reliable enough to make/receive calls without hanging out of a window!!molerat said:

I've found the Three network works well with WiFi calling. ID mobile also use the Three network and offer WiFi calling.molerat said:

I'm on O2 which also does but you have to get customer services to enable it. I read recently that Lebara have also introduced wifi calling and they have some very competitive deals.
Quite a few MVNO'S include EU roaming as part of the deal (as does O2) which may be of interest.0 -
Just be aware though that not all providers on the O2 network does provide wifi calling, Giffgaff, for example does not.Neil49 said:

And neither does Tesco Mobile. Just for information, if you want WiFi calling with O2 then you have to contact customer services to get them to enable it.shiraz99 said:

I never had that issue with Three where my phone immediately switched into WiFi calling the moment I first switched my phone on.0 -
Hi guys, just wanted to say thanks. Ive learnt a lot from all your comments - so much so that I have another friend thats asked me about what broadband package they should get! I asked them to send me a screenshot of their current download speed - its 100Mbs(!). She's single person who streams Netflix and checks emails, so I feel 100Mbs is far too much.Is there an online tool to throttle download speed? Id hate to recommend she only needs 40Mbs, which then turns out to be too slow for her. She's currently spending £50pm, so if I can reduce that down to £20pm that would be great.0

Assuming she's streaming over WiFi, you could see if her router will let you change the WiFi mode to the obsolete 802.11g standard (54 Mbps) or even 802.11b (11Mbps).dllive said:I asked them to send me a screenshot of their current download speed - its 100Mbs(!). which supplier is she currently with & can she downgrade on her contract without penalty (or is it due for renewal)?dllive said:Hi guys, just wanted to say thanks. Does that £50/month include a calls package?
If it is a supplier that uses Openreach & she is now on FTTP then she probably can't go back to FTTC on Openreach.0
