P.S. What is the exit fee and can you exit to go onto the standard tariff ? (p.s. I never thought I would ask that last question!)1 -
For me this "deal" appears to be nothing more than locking in the current predictions about the October price increase three months early.... I guess if you want to remove any uncertainty and don't mind paying an extra three months of the October prices to do so then it could be worth it.

This is very much like the 2 year deal I took with Eon Next back in March this year. They were offering the price cap figures for my region as a fix for two years, no exit fee so I took it.
Good thing about Eon Next is they delayed it for a month to start 1st April so we have been paying the current April price cap and obviously no exit fee should the prices dip below my regions 29.24p kWh electricity rate.
I am not saying take it by any means but I'm glad we did back in March as we then went on an energy cut back exercise to minimise the damage to the wallet.1 -

As @Astria is saying the 51% is not the increase for the unit price, but unfortunately it is not to scare people. The expected increase for the gas unit rate is a whopping 70%. not just 51%.
How is that possible. Most agree there will be no increase in the standing charges, so you deduct the standing charge from the predicted gas price. If you dive the result by 12000 (Ofgem average gas use) you get the new unit rate of 12.47p. Subtract the old unit rate of 7.3 and you get the increase of 5.17, which is an increase 70.82%.
The above does not take regional difference for standing charges or unit rates into account.pochase you are so good at working out the figures I was wondering if you would be able to tell me what the possible unit prices for the Gas and Electricity might be since the most recent Cornwall Insights predictions Martin spoke about last week. Eon are allowing me to take eon next v15 from next week but I'm still confused if I should stay on variable to save until October or will the Oct rise be same as v15 fixed rate? This is just electric.0

Might be worth a search on this in the forum as this deal has been mentioned a lot in the past. Maybe even scroll through the sticky top posts regarding what rates have you been offered bound to be in there.1 -

I didn't think the V15 was available anymore. Are you sure it's the V15 and not the V16 they are offering you just now ?
