If you pay a CCJ it.will still blight your credit record for 6 years, and cause issues with loans etc, all be it marked as satisfied.
Also by paying you will make it hard to impossible to rectify this 6 year stain.

It's within the 30 days notice period. The CCJ was served 14th June. The only reason I'm paying it off today is to avoid it blighting my report for the next six years.

Are you saying that this is not the correct course of action? And that despite paying it off within 30 days the ccj will remain on my report for the next six years?

Paying within 30 days of the judgement means it will not be registered at all, so there will be nothing to taint your ability to obtain credit.

Payment of £289 paid via their website. I'm beyond livid right now.

    Have emailed them the following:

    "
    Hello

I'm disgusted at the way your firm has treated me regarding this case. I've not heard from you in fourteen days. I can't get through to you on the phone. 40mins waiting yesterday and combined 45 mins today and counting as I'm still waiting in your queue.

I'm going to pay the CCJ off today for the full amount and then I'm going to take you to court to claim it back and compensation for time spent on this and severe distress.

I repeat, me paying this CCJ off today is NOT an acceptance that I owe the money. Its solely to make sure it does not stay on my credit report for six years.

    Sincerely"

Small claims court for this case now I guess?

But that email doesn't explain that the CCJ was false and you'd already paid the £60.  Was that clearly explained earlier in the same email trail? How are they meant to know the issues?

Also, never address a solicitor firm:  'hello'. It's Dear Sirs then ends 'yours faithfully'.

And you won't be suing them (the solicitor). You will be suing the parking firm. That's not an easy task and has to be pleaded properly. And you'd need to send an LBC first.

To get this (the LBC) right you might want to ask David at SmallClaimsAdvisor to write it for you:

    https://smallclaimsadvisor.co.uk/

I am not connected with that company but what he doesn't know about small claims and parking firms can be written on the head of a pin!

When you made the payment which website did you pay it to? Solicitor or parking firm?

Did you include the PCN and Court claim refs?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thought it was a CCJ  in fefault (ie late)
When does this time period (30 days) expire?
If I was in your position I would be looking at claiming against the principal

Appreciate all your help guys but this is way over my head. I don't have the time or patience to deal with this and I'm just going to get a lawyer involved.

Will still pop back and let you know the outcome.

I think you have to send proof to the court that payment was made within 30 days and request that the CCJ is not registered or is removed from the register if it has already been registered.

Can't even get a solicitor involved as three of them so far say say their costs are out of proportion compared to the size of the ccj. What a shambles man.

Had to go out for a walk to clear my head there. Red mist had came down since I paid the ccj. Let me address previous posts now.
