@faberson1964 looks like that is 4 of us now! I have exchanged emails with one of them and we are working together now. He is going to message you and we are waiting to hear from @lelong_mckean. If we all use similar form of words in the appeal to IAS it will be clear we are all working together. I believe I am correct in saying we can all claim expenses at an hourly rate in supporting each others cases if we go to court. I have informed Armtrac my hourly rate is £45 an hour. It would be amazing if we could get a group case together. They would run a mile. Look in your inbox for a message. The bloke I linked up with (who got a ticket within an hour of the one I was issued) is messaging you. Let's get 'em!!!2

@faberson1964 can you try and link up with the trip advisor person? 5 would be amazing!0

If we all use similar form of words in the appeal to IAS it will be clear we are all working together.Nope. The key is not IAS appeal.
It is complaints not appeals that will stop this scam and force refunds and a climb down.
Try the IPC and approach them together, as a group. BUT firstly, you all have to complain to the parking firm, or the IPC won't look at any complaints. Copy in your own local MPs and the DVLA data complaint email too, when you complain to the data protection officer at Armtrac.
State that you all object to your data being processed and to the unlawful release of rk data by the DVLA about any PCN at this site, which does not meet the bar for public interest because there is no breach. The machine/system is unworkable and as bad if not worse than the Llangrannog OPS farce.
Forget appeals. Honestly.
Raise your group evidence with the local newspaper too.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Evening. Also got PCN on the grounds that full number plate was not entered but only final three characters. Instructions on payment machine clearly stated to only enter final three characters as shown in this photo:
This is the machine that is on the right of the entrance as you look at the car park from the road. You can see it in situ here:
I appealed the original PCN via the Armtrac appeals system and it was rejected so now ready to make a complaint too.3 -
Everyone concerned should complain to the DVLA that since the parking Ts and Cs were complied with fully (include photos of the pay machine), the PPC had no reasonable cause to obtain and process keeper details, and the DVLA had no right to sell the keeper's personal data to the PPC.
Tell them you will be complaining to the ICO about this data breach as the DVLA's actions are contrary to Article 6 of the GDPR 2018 that states the handling (selling) of data must only be carried out in the interests of the public, not the interests of the DVLA or the PPC.
Whatever the DVLA's response, a complaint to the ICO should also be made.
Everyone should also complain to their MPs about this data breach.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks5 -
An IAS appeal is not usually worth the paper that it is written on.
In a town local to where I live they are having this issue on a large scale. They are appealing to IAS knowing that their appeal will fail but they do seem to be obtaining lists of the VRN's for the specifc days that transgressions occurred. That is the main objective of appealing in these cases to get the information.
It's also interesting to see how many other motorists allegedly input wrong VRN's. If they fail to give you this you can use this against them that they have withheld information vital to your hearing.
There does seem to be a spate of PCN's issued for wrong VRN's at the moment.

“Enter last 3 characters of your number plate”
That is a crystal clear instruction on the payment machine - which gives no option to enter anything other than 3 characters.
It would be good to see a readable picture of the terms and conditions sign.
This is a clear case of entrapment and the press should be invited to investigate, how many have paid? How long has this been going on for? Who is behind this latest variation in the ongoing nationwide parking scams?I’ve always hated the “No change given Overpayments accepted” add on scam too. I’m sure we used to get change.

Yes Mayon Green is Sennen Top Car Park. Might well be the same machines down the bottom. I have clearer pictures of term and conditions (from Mayon Green) here:

Impossible Terms and Conditions - does that not make any contract invalid?
