You claim no liability although you go on to say that you entered the car park as driver.  I am not sure that because someone else drove the car out that releases you from keeper liability.  Hopefully the judge is persuaded.

You seem to be saying that the vicissitude of losing your contact lens was the reason for leaving the car park after your ticket expired yet you do not say what prevented someone else (your partner for example) from purchasing another ticket; maybe your partner was involved on the phone trying to organise insurance cover so that the car could leave the car park asap.  You also make a major play of the signage being cluttered and confusing.  It cannot have been too cluttered as you worked out how to buy a ticket and that you needed to purchase more parking time.
I am not shooting down the WS because hopefully it backs up and supports your defence (a while ago since I read it) but am looking at it from a judge's point of view.

Look again at your Notice of Allocation. The Notice that gives the hearing date.
Is there not a paragraph something like:
Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].
    Might be on the back.
Those documents you intend to rely on are your Witness Statement and evidence.

The words 'every other party' are significant.

If the Claimant is using a solicitor, then the box headed "Address for sending documents and payments (if different)" on your Claim Form will be relevant too.

In the last sentence of rara 10, "nor" and "not" appear to be the wrong way round.

You need to include the transcript of the Jopson case as an exhibit.
