Thanks @B789 - I'll do that and get it sent off.

Maybe just paranoia about wanting no excuses for the form to not be accepted!

Ok - I submitted earlier in the week (received e-mail auto responses from CCBC and DCBL) and I've realised I've left the very first box empty (essentially where you put your name) "To be completed by/On behalf of" but still scored out the irrelevant sections underneath so just left 1st Defendant.

I've filled everything else in correctly and signed it so are CCBC going to accept that D180 or should I re-send it with my name completed at the top? Deadline is early next week so still have time tomorrow to send an updated copy to both parties.

(Appreciate its a scandalously bad mistake to make but for some reason thought at the time you would only put the name of someone who wasn't the Claimant/Defendant)

Ok will do @Coupon-mad - and saying something along the lines of "please discount my previous submission" wouldn't do me any harm either?

"Disregard" would be a more suitable word to use.

Thanks all - have re-submitted so will keep checking MCOL for updates. (& any letters!)
  • Just an update on this one as it's been a while - D180 received all fine and was transferred to my local County Court as requested.

Received a letter earlier this week stating the case has now been moved to a more Central London based County Court (still fairly close to home). Not sure if that is a good or bad thing but assume its more to do with capacity rather than anything else?

OK. Yes it'll be capacity to hear claims.

Now go read about the new case of CEL v Chan because you will be including that with your WS.  The case is all over the forum, so the search is yours to do. Read & learn.
