Waitrose Hobnob rip off £1.60, other supermarkets £1.19.

Supermarkets aren't obligated by law, to charge the lowest price for a product. They can even charge different prices in different branches. Just use www.trolley.co.uk and check the best prices there. Set up an email alert for products. Helpfully, they don't send out loads, just one email in a day if the products you have on alert have gone up/down. KIND bars go up and down like yo-yos.2
