The man is in no position to preach, scammers do not have a voice. He is only CEO by default after the Davies -- Hurley scam was exposed by the Parking Prankster ?
And still Davies AKA Gladstones wastes the courts time trying to extort money as a result of the scam IAS.. why these two money scammers are not behind bars is beyond me.
Hopefully David's response will button the mouth of Hurley7 -

I'm still of the opinion that anyone in the private parking industry should have a full/enhanced DBS/CRB check to weed out any dodgy people. After all PPCs and their employees have access to peoples personal data through the DVLA link , anyone who has any previous convictions/cautions etc for things such as violence, threatening behaviour , sexual offences, fraud , offences against under 18's and/or vulnerable adults ( including cases where someone has been dismissed from a previous job for such things) as well as other relevant offences/cautions etc should not be allowed anywhere near the data PPCs can access. While a full DBS/CRB check wouldnt stop someone from abusing personal data it would stop those with a past from doing so .As for News stories, a ray of hope as Private parking companies are banned from accessing driver details - in Australia (Queensland)
Existing regulations have allowed private parking operators to access registration details, including names and addresses, when it is considered to be the first step of litigation.
"What we've seen is some predatory companies issuing what looked like fines, and are actually not fines, to people for overstaying in car parks," Mr Bailey told reporters on Tuesday.
"And the way it's been done has been, to be quite frank, it's been a real rip off and it's been something that's trying to exploit people rather than managing car parks."
Looks like the penny ( or cent) has dropped in Australia - which I assume has similar laws around contracts etc to the UK
From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"8 -
Following on in a similar vein to the story about Excel Parking having a PDT machine that wasn't sending data (so they issued PCNs anyway and only appeared to cancel once enough people complained) here we have NCP doing something similar for TWO MONTHS:
https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/news/motoring/ncp-cancel-hundreds-city-centre-8180839.amp
NCP has cancelled "hundreds" of PCNs at Siddals Road Car Park, Derby, after a crappy machine caused paying motorists to receive PCNs in the post despite having paid for their parking sessions.
PCNs issued from December until February 1st were all cancelled.
Looks to me like the usual rush to lift the BPA-emblazoned carpet and sweep the dust under it.
Despite being one of the more well-known names in parking, it looks to me like they couldn't run a you-know-what in a brewery...
I remember the NCP car park debacle a year or two ago, when they managed to set the 'exit' camera at another car park a whole hour out from the 'in' timing. Loads of PCNs issued falsely, were seemingly only cancelled when people complained to the BPA.
Bet the BPA are not chuffed about the timing of this latest embarrassing example of what looks like plain incompetence and a woeful lack/failure of checks and balances to prevent consumer harm.
A spokesperson for NCP said:
"There are two pay machines for this car park and we could see, when we investigated this issue, that one of the machines had been intermittently cutting out due to a technical outage."When we became aware of the issue we immediately cancelled all PCNs issued to customers during the time period affected. Normally when a machine is out of order, it should show a screen which states it is out of order and to pay at the other machine, but it appears this didn’t happen."
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This one is very interesting:
https://www.legalfutures.co.uk/latest-news/law-firm-sues-trustpilot-for-defamation-over-20-negative-reviews
Not over yet...the case continues according to that article, which also tells us:
"This is not the first time BW Legal has sued over negative online reviews. Last year, it failed in a bid for a Norwich Pharmacal order aimed at uncovering the identities of people who posted reviews about it on the Glassdoor website."
NB: worth a reminder as we are on a forum: always be careful that what you post online is truth, fair opinion and in the public interest.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Then you've also got predators like the convicted racist misogynistic thug Peter Del Grosso and then the convicted Fraudster Dodgy Doug who was convicted for misusing motorists personal data then attempt (and also succeed) in defrauding money out of them - but still allowed to continue accessing this data he abused for his own illegal gains!6 -

Do you know what, McDonalds?
You DON'T NEED a parking time limit. Never did. Kick the PPC out.3 -

This silly story in the Scum (sorry everyone) appears to be about a ParkingEye (typical) ANPR failure double dip:
