…despite the fact that it was the IPC and BPA who dropped their AOS members in it for years with various unlawful statements in their Codes…

…then by making the 30+ disingenuous anti-consumer changes to the 2022 Statutory CoP and renaming it the ('piece of') PSS CoP. Including removing the consideration period for patrons who stay, saying that they can blame consumers for wrong addresses and not reissue PCNs, saying that only drivers can appeal, etc., and continuing to tell their sheep AOS members they can add an unlawful £70 per PCN.

I get the feeling that a lot of training is just a CYOB (cover your own back) tick box excessive for whoever is commissioning the training, then the head organisation can deny any liability

Right now, parking companies , especially the regular rogue traders we see on here will be living a life on death row waiting for the CMA to strike at any time

The CMA has said that fines will be paid to HM Treasury … Euro Car Parks is just the tip of the iceberg

The CMA need the help of the public to clamp down on the rogue traders and on that subject, the IAS should be top of the list with their rubbish appeals service which is anti consumer

True, but the third sign is always displayed at the entrance (except when they forget).

Although it's unreadable because you're in a car.

The single code of practice doesn't "allow" for massively complicated entrance signage, but they ignore that and simply put it up as a catch-all. A Popla assessor will always give it a tick, as they look at a static photo for as long as they want, sitting at their desk travelling at zero mph.

It's should simply says "Free car park, but maximum time limits apply at various times."

And obviously have one design of sign within the car park.

He didn't even get on to the green YourParkingSpace app signs that infest half a Tesco car park, handily reducing the chance of you seeing a Horizon sign by 50%. His "shouldn't have to hunt" comments are handy though. Why would you hunt for a blue Horizon sign if you're parked next to a green app sign?
