The UKPC article c-mad posted said "A spokesman for The Long Beach Estate, which owns The Sandsgate Bar, confirmed the business was in contact with UK Parking Control Ltd to adjust parameters so the cameras only trigger a penalty after 10 minutes."
Wonder if UKPC will carryout the Landowner wishes or continue with their own wishes to generate more income for themselves.3 -

The Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019 (the Act) requires the Secretary of State to prepare a code of practice containing guidance about the operation and management of private parking facilities. The Act is applicable across England, Scotland and Wales.
The government’s code of practice contains:
- guidance that promotes good practice in the operation and management of private parking facilities
- guidance about appeals against private parking charges imposed by, or on behalf of, persons providing private parking facilities
This consultation seeks views on the government proposed measures aimed at raising standards in the private parking industry before launching the Code of Practice.
This is a public consultation and we welcome views from anyone who has an interest in private parking. However, views are especially invited from:
- car park users
- those who represent the interests of motorists
- the parking industry
- landowners
- businesses involved in debt recovery

We should all get the media / press involved be it local or national to reach as many people as possible

Or the one where it just said "no parking" so she parked before the boundary of the sign (it was on a road).5 -
Didcot is only thirty miles from High Wycombe where the council learned a very expensive lesson regarding the illegality of ANPR for council car parks.Coupon-mad said:

btw, I did contact the reporter, got a thank you - but he has since been back in touch to request more info on the use of ANPR by authorities and how the dereg act etc impacted their use....guess we'll have to see if he digs deeper.... @nigelbb are there any news reports (I may have missed them in here somewhere) that I can also forward to him?nigelbb said:
