That camera is filming every car and pedestrian across that road AND the windows of all those houses opposite. This covert camera surveillance has got to stop.
If I owned one of those houses opposite I'd aim a bright, tightly-focused light at the cameras.6 -
So much for their so-called "Grace" period, reminds me of those dodgy places with "If you stop to read this notice, you have already been charged £100" for private roads which otherwise are the same as the public highway.I see their 'lawyer' is bringing up the usual advice to appeal to the IPC appeal panel, which is like appealing to a dog not to chase the ball you have just thrown.3

And back in Kent:This time PPC land meets the wonderful world of Evri, the well known courier company. The management of Evri, in its ultimate wisdom, decided to engage with the services of Smart parking and install ANPR cameras at its Depot in Strood, the place where delivery drivers turn up to sort and pick up their parcels, sometimes having to wait a while for lorries and other vehicles to arrive in order to complete their loads for the day.what could possibly go wrong?theres even a report in there of someone pickling up over £4,000 worth in parking charge notices, the usual stuff about being scored by the likes of Debt recovery plus and debt collectors turning up at people's homesOn a side note, tis about time that referring to parking companies - as in the model that generates the traffic on here being referred to as operators is put to a stop.As for the site in this article, a bin bag over the camera safely put up in a way that won't cause damage would/could be a temporary solutionFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Weasly words as usual! I also scanned the rest of the publication. Seems to me that over half of it was primarily about surveillance cameras and the like. Growing like Topsy; the Great British public's money is the target! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Apropos the above 'surveillance'. What's this all about? Developed by small-fry PPC UKPPO? Have they taken on Trev W as a consultant? AI-PPTZ-in-a-Box?

PTZ just means Pan, Tilt, Zoom ... functionality available in many CCTV cameras.
It does sound like a remake of Trev's wonder box though.Jenni x3 -
I liked the Love your Association Let us know! on P40 Parking News
"BPA ecourages it's members to share a positive review on their experience with the Association on Trustpilot."
Parking Group posted a very positve 5* review in Jan.
BPA think their reviews are from the public who are unhappy about a parking ticket. NO THEY'RE NOT most are questioning BPA's role and competencies at identifying/action members CoP breaches.3 -
I’ve just had an email to say that the next issue of Which? Magazine will be covering private parking.6

Am I remembering right that Which? don't have a good track record in publishing accurate articles relating to private parking?Jenni x4
