Haha this is hilarious!  Why is he in almost every photo of the house and in nearly every location on the video!

I started checking the other properties from the agent to see if this was their 'marketing style' but rest of them are normal, so must be the vendor came to them and said "Right I have an amazing idea that'll help the house sell in no time" and then insisted he be pictured in most of the rooms and play a starring role in the video :)
There's a woman on one listing of theirs that I looked at, a couple on another, and dogs on others.
You're right - woman and a dog in multiple photos and starring in the video of this one :)https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/114495536#/?channel=RES_BUY
That video is bizarre, almost like it's advertising the woman not the house!  Why on earth show her staring out the window holding a coffee cup!

You didn't look hard enough, they don't do it every time but I looked at half a dozen listings and they do the same thing in some of them.

I guess the agent thinks it's something to set them apart. It won't make a place more saleable though and could even put some people off (if the 'actor' looks like an ex partner or horrible boss etc.!).
  • Both videos are Mr & Mrs Clarke...

My guess is that Mr & Mrs Clarke is a business which provides quirky videos to estate agents at extra cost to sellers. The stills from the videos really don't work well, but both the videos and the stills seem to have attracted a lot of comment on here, and might draw the attention of potential buyers scrolling through Rightmove or similar.

That "old rectory" property looks like an absolute bargain - enormous amount of space for the money.

I think Mrs & Mrs Clarke is the name of the selling agent.
