Is this fix to NextOnlineV14 worth it or not?

This should help you with your decision
It is listed as one of the fixed rates Martin Lewis recommends for consideration0 -
Based on that the plan offered is only 24% above SVR, but I have to consider that I dont actually use a lot a month, and I have to pay more until October to get a fix for a likely but unpredictable price rise in October.Mstty said:This should help you with your decision

But its only 4 months left before the next price cap increase.

If you don't use a lot (like most in summer) the increase in price per kWh won't equate to much at all, yet the savings from October may do?
Time to get the spreadsheet out with your annual consumption, ideally split into months, so you can work out the pros and cons.0 -
Thats a good point I forgot. I'll give Eon Next a call tomorrow and see if they will tell me how long this plan will be available for and if I can take it with a 30 day deferral.Mstty said:If you don't use a lot (like most in summer) the increase in price per kWh won't equate to much at all, yet the savings from October may do?

Says 30% more on link you quoted
Difference in electric unit rate is 37% ...
Now I don't think I want to switch anymore, thanks for pointing that out.1 -
Might be worth asking Eon Next about - Next Loyalty 12M Fixed Rate - June 2022Bhavv said:bristolleedsfan said:

I just sent them an email asking if I can be offered that loyalty plan with a screenshot of it, will wait for the reply.
The cheapest switch for electric only is 36.xx per unit rate, and 55.xx for standing charge which is too much more.1
