In theory, on a managed Trustpilot page (where ownership is taken and monitored and responded to), an expression of dissatisfaction should be treated as a complaint. Although it would need the reviewer to become identifiable which would likely mean taking it to another form of contact)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Managed to do it eventually with AJbell. There is no system setup for it so they have to do it manually even though 'it is not possible'. Ring them, its possible but only after much pain.

Good to know this is an option if someone is willing to put in the effort!housemw said:Managed to do it eventually with AJbell. There is no system setup for it so they have to do it manually even though 'it is not possible'. Ring them, its possible but only after much pain.

I would be interested to hear a bit more detail about how you managed this. What did you ask for, has the transfer in been successful etc?housemw said:Managed to do it eventually with AJbell. Why did you choose AJ Bell instead of Hargreaves Lansdown?housemw said:Managed to do it eventually with AJbell. There is no system setup for it so they have to do it manually even though 'it is not possible'. Ring them, its possible but only after much pain.
 Thanks
Well it was the only one that would accept my transfer once I manually asked them to change my account details to allow the transfer. HL just said no we dont accept transfers at this time. I would encourage more to contact AJbell or any other provider about this as they dont advertise it you have to push!

I'm new to Stocks and Shares, how difficult is it to pick the most suitable things to invest in, to suit your level of risk?housemw said:Mosler said:

I suggest you go over to the main savings and investments forum and post this question as a new thread, rather than jumping on to the end of another one on a different subject.Mosler said:

Some more details about yourself would be useful such as your age and the time scale you want to invest. Also whether you are looking to invest via a pension, or ISA.0

AJ Bell offers a comprehensive range of funds, ETFs, shares etc, so it is not like the robo-investing providers who would assess your attitude to risk and then put you into a predefined portfolio to suit that. You'd be best researching investment options independently of AJ Bell, and the options will be broadly the same across all platforms of this type.Mosler said:
