Do you reckon I can fit a king size mattress into a Ford Fiesta?

Getting a new mattress tomorrow, need to get rid of the old one but it can cost a bit and thinking whether I can get it into my 2012 Fiesta.
I've managed to fit surprising large items in there as it's quite roomy.
I could just try it myself tomorrow, but don't want to look like a plonker in front of all my neighbours if I try and obviously fail. Thought it would be easier to ask and look like a plonker here first.

Ratchet straps and roll it up you can get it smaller than you may think but you need good straps not cheapy ones.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

It'll probably go in if you can fold/roll it.
Or if it's memory foam you can just cut it up.
Though if the company providing the new one are offering to do the uplift for a small fee it's probably worth taking them up on it.

I know someone who got rid of an old mattress in his small car by cutting it up with a saw and wire cutters. It was messy, but he did it!

Had to hacksaw this off. I could then roll it up & secure with cable ties.It was all a bit of a faff but i'm a cheap bast**d & didn't want to pay the £35 companies were quoting for renewal. Was considering weighing the metal in, but didn't think there was much value in it, so just dumped it at the tip.1

I fitted a double mattress in the back of a 206 once. My tip has a special skip for mattresses too.0

Yes. There'll be no room for you though.0
