The bill does confirm Smart readings so no estimates involved.

You are almost the typical consumer 3201 KWh Electric / 10,574 KWh Gas
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

There should be another page which gives details of payments and credits/debits

Typical? Really? Working from home wrapped in a blanket so I don’t have to turn on the heating is typical? That’s kinda sad

Still your bill will show that history.

We are still confused where the £138 comes from.   Is it by chance a default DD if you fail to submit a meter reading?  (My EDF is like that)

That bill is £88.54, where did you get £138 from ?

I’ve changed the heading. £138 in April. £88 in May. I turned the thermostat down to 19 degrees (and the weather was warmer too)

So what's the issue ?  You are being correctly billed for your usage.

  • Looks entirely reasonable to me now that you have amended your topic title.

If you are worried about your winter bills - don't forget you will get a £400 payment to help out - if your average is around £100 a month - that's 4 months you won't have to pay anything ( depending on the October price changes ).
