We are still confused where the £138 comes from. Is it by chance a default DD if you fail to submit a meter reading? (My EDF is like that)Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

If you are worried about your winter bills - don't forget you will get a £400 payment to help out - if your average is around £100 a month - that's 4 months you won't have to pay anything ( depending on the October price changes ).
