How can I Walk into supermarkets and buy shopping anonymously when cash becomes extinct?

I don't want to use my bank card and be tracked and traced.

What is wrong with these silly daft sheep humans? , they all love being tracked and traced by using their card.

Yes ! I know we can't beat the big brother surveillance, but why make it easy!

And before anyone says that I'm give out my location on here, I use VPN and a pay as you go phone

Worse is Tesco offering much lower prices for club card holders.
so if I don’t want a club card I have to pay more.
    no thanks Tesco.

Yep if you don't want to be tracked then loyalty cards do far more tracking than bank cards would.

Many many businesses are going cash only though, it reduces their insurance bill, less time and effort and lower cost to bank it all. So although cash won't go away for some time, there will be many places that refuse to accept it.

I haven't used cash in at least 10 years. Mostly, I use PayPal, which means that the merchant doesn't get my card number. I have a clubcard but don't like the Tesco pricing policy.

We only used cash for fish n chips and the like or when at the seaside. However, since Covid, we feel like the Royal family, is cashless. TBH, I keep about 20 quid in change for parking as I'm not great with mobile phones/etc. but that is about it.

The newer notes not bad but it makes me cringe when touching money/notes when I recall people at work, public toilets having a number two and not washing their hands never mind a number one. Then I see people with their finger up their nostrils and wipe on their clothing or, (sorry about this) a few months back as I drove in nose to tail traffic a man put his thing on one nostril, blew out a massive greenie and then shook his hand to clean it and then spat on the ground - these are the same people that handle the money we could touch or the door handles at shops/etc.

I did not feel as disgusted before Covid re touching money etc but I guess Covid and  most of us semi-forced into contactless transactions etc has driven me over the edge.
     ..

    Before you spend, remember the
MSE Money Mantras. Ask yourself, do I need it? Can I afford it? If the answer is NO to any of those questions, DON’T buy it.  (Quote from MSE  15/11/22)

Politeness & courtesy are some of the few things in life that are free. Please remember that when posting, I may ignore permanently the unpolite, tedious, unconstructive and deliberately obtuse comments. Many thanks.
