10.1 The Company warrants that as from the date of delivery and for a period of 12 months afterwards the goods, are reasonably free from any defects in design, workmanship or materials.
Clearly if one has fallen apart there is a issue.

Thankyou for all your comments - they've agreed to take them back as they dont meet fire safety regulations without a label! Company not bothered about the wiring on cable haha
Anyway fingers crossed they issue a full refund as stated - I'll happily pay to return them. Not sure I'd ever buy from this company again though1 -
