    After the experience of others I'm kind of glad the meter installer didn't turn up. EDF gave me £30 compensation and I've already started the switch to Octopus for gas. Hopefully then the meter installation will be simpler by having both utilities with the same supplier.
    My date of completion of transfer to Octopus is 27 June but the gas data are already displayed on the Octopus webpage.
    I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".
