Good day here, nice and sunny

This morning OH and I ran round like made things tidying and cleaning the house as last night once we had had a glass of wine the estate agent called to ask if she could bring someone to look round this morning at 10!  We said yes and then looked at the state of the house.  It's amazing how much 2 people can do in 2 hours.  So then after lunch we had a drive out to the see to meet friends for afternoon tea and raspberry tart (thank you local patisserie shop) in their new house.  Back home, dinner eaten, kitchen tidied and feeling quite relaxed after a lovely day.

Dgd1 has just gone home.  Had a lovely day, got to see both grand babies. Flying wise, the dailies were done, washing is up to date and dry, just needs to be put away and I walked the dogs.

This morning I flew for about 20 minutes: FUPA clean washing, hoovered the LR , kitchen and DR, wiped the kitchen floor, did a bit of work at my computer, and watered the indoor plants.  Then DH, Rosie and I decided to have a day out.  It was very pleasant and we didn't get rained on at all!  After driving down the motorway, Rosie and I had a short walk by the River Avon, to stretch our legs.  Then, while Rosie stayed in the car,  which I had parked under a shady tree, DH and I went to the National Garden Scheme opening of an alpine garden - small enough for DH to walk round comfortably, but with enough plants and different types of beds (gravel / slate / tufa etc) to keep everybody happy.  I came away with 5 little pots to plant out in the raised bed in our front garden....

Then we went on to a local NT property, where Rosie was able to have a good walk - though of necessity on the lead.  DH discovered that the property had some Trampers (the all-terrain mobility scooters) so of course he had to have a go.  Following the Tramper route, we did a somewhat longer walk than I am used to, though of cours DH found it all very easy!   Beautiful views, including a gi-normous area of the parkland that looked like a sea of daisies and buttercups   So I am feeling refreshed and relaxed, despite still having a long to-do list.

Morning all.  Hope you're all ok today.
I've only just got up.  Slurping first cuppa.  Me and Littleydog have had our drugs for the day. She has a new growth on her paw so I'll phone the vet tomorrow.
DH are planning an afternoon out today so flying will be this morning.

I was late up too - after a restless night: too hot / too cold / too hot. And now I feel groggy, but I'm up, made my bed, WM is swishing towels and tea towels,  and I've supped my first brew. Definitely a two brew morning 😴 

Being a geek I'm going to check whether piggers is due North of here....I suspect slightly NE, but I could make a detour for a cuppa ☕ 😊 xx

The kettle needs my attention. Back later.

Morning

On the beach at 6.30am, sun was out, so walking is done, local car boot walked around.
NND opposite chatted to, it seems he is selling the house, it goes on the market next week.

5 cats fed, couldn't find one of NND's cat to give it its tablet, so gave that a miss, came home, said cat is on my drive way playing with my cats! was going to pick him up and take him to his house to administer tablet, but he had other ideas and is now hiding in some shrubs.

OH due home today after his bike camping......

Other general daily stuff done.

Morning all,
On the beach at 6.30am sounds bliss. Heading due North sounds idyllic - I fear that I have far too far to run to catch up with that particular flylady bus 🥲.
A restless night here too and definitely a 2 cuppa morning. Wm is swishing, I need to sort out the clean washing and contemplate the ironing pile. DH still says he feels poorly and very tired…rolls eyes and walks away…
I have 3 trays of dahlias that really should be in the ground by now. Not sure that I’ll get that job done today, but I will aspire to it.

Oh Kaz I am jealous of your early trip to the beach.

Family party was good last night, but DS1 got very very drunk to the point where he was starting to make an idiot of himself and I was on edge.  I suspect this is a sign of MH stuff creeping back in.  I wish he would talk about it.  Both him and DS2 stayed last night so DS2 will need taking to the train station in the big city at some point.  I dont want DS1 driving but I might not have any say in that.

I feel the need to get outside and get some fresh air but I feel a bit groggy due to the very late night.  Like Round I was too hot/too cold/too hot in bed.  More coffee sounds like a good idea.

House in a pretty good shape so going to start sorting out what we need to pack to go to UK for 10 days.

More coffee first
