Hello all. Hope all the poorlies are improving.
After a couple of days out of sorts myself, today I have done a work shift, done dailies, walked dogs, cut grass back and front, done admin and hoovered through.
I think that's enough for one day.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Cats fed, inc next doors as they are away for the weekend.Sides now clear and cleaned / sorted.Laptop is playing up, it won't work (and hasn't done for a long time unless the charging cable is in) now it won't charge, unless I make the laptop 'l' shaped, put it on a flat surface on its side, a bit like reading a book, then it will charge...................possibly time for a new one.........I cannot be doing with typing on the slant.A lovely evening here, for once.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all
Strangely the shoulder is much better after two yoga sessions, thanks Round. Paid stuff done, called at the park and used the outdoor gym, made slow cooker spicy chicken thing to have with wraps, hair coloured, car tidied out. LR is dusty but I will deal with that tomorrow.
Looks windy over the weekend. DS is coming home tomorrow for a family party tomorrow night. I have found some bottles of Prosecco that are gathering dust so put one in the fridge. Wonder if it is cold enough to drink.10 -
Good morning my lovelies xx
The hacker is still footling around in the background- attempting to access my Microsoft account now. I didn't know I had a Microsoft account! DS says it's the login to my laptop, which I haven't used for months because it was slowly dieing. And breathe...
I cleared the top of the table, by the side of my chair, of all superfluous gubbins last night. OK- so I simply shifted it to the pile of gubbins on the coffee table, but now one horizontal surface is tidy.....and one has a bigger pile of gubbins on it. 🤔
I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, rinsed cans ready to recycle, and supped my first brew.
Round 1:
Sort washing into loads
Set first load swishing
Brew 2 and breakfast
Take dry clothes upstairs
Get dressed
Put away the airer
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Put away dry pots languishing on draining board
WUDUPA
Sweetie's seed and water
Circling my brain:

Write & post New Home card (DS and GF move today)
Buy Sympathy card

It’s the weekend. Off to the workplace to join in a mindfulness and meditation class. DD made me buy vitamin d tablets so I’ve taken that.DW x1, WM x2 as I stripped and changed my bed last night and I only wash 1 king size sheet at a time (though I do put other stuff in with each sheet).

Good morning all,
Finally I can report some flying so can join back in. Getting it out there before I forget: wm x1, done and hung outside on the airer so that it can be quickly brought back in if it rains, HHI to clear mount ironmore, gh flying to finally tend to the tomato plants after a few days neglect.
Still testing positive, one week down the line, so I’m probably going to be one of those lucky ones who test positive for an age. Feel ok now apart from a lingering sniffle. DH is still positive too, but, despite what he thinks, is also pretty much better. Sympathetic, moi?! DD emerged from her room with a bag and her car keys and has taken herself off with her uni flatmates for a few days (planned for ages), so hopefully when she returns we will be back on an equilibrium and able to actually be in the same room and share a glass of wine with her.
House is a pit, not a lot I can do about that atm.
I hope all poorlies are feeling better, and that you all have a relaxing weekend xx8 -

Round due North sounds good, can I join you? I get a tad queasy mind. That stuff with the hacker sounds really unsettling.
We are out tonight, a very rare proper night out. I have worked myself up into a tiz over what to wear. It's in a pub that does functions so I dont need to be too dressy but my wardrobe mainly consists of formal work stuff, scruffing about on a weekend stuff, and gym/cycling stuff. I have tried on a couple of going out tops from years back and they look awful because I have lost a bit of weight. I do have a dress that would be OK but suspect I will be cold wearing it. Sigh.
All that aside I can report that I have been flying this morning, upstairs dusted and hoovered, paintwork wiped down, bathroom floor swished. Going to do paintwork downstairs and wipe down kitchen cupboards next.

I have a new laptop! old one is not well at all.
So I am trying it out, functions on this one are very different (update version) to my old one, but at least I have found you all.
