Broadband for 3 months

Who mentioned anything about FTTP. The OP wants a 3 months worth of broadband, I doubt he's that interested in Cuckoo's MSE rating. Comparing like for like speed NOW BB is much cheaper than Cuckoo over the 3 months so again I question your "best bet" conclusion. Also, if you read my post you'll see that I did already mention 4g.HaroldWren5 said:
For FTTC maybe. Not for FTTP. Customer service of Cuckoo scores 9.7/10 in MoneySavingExpert's customer service poll (with Cuckoo and then Zen topping the list). 51.8% of Now BB customers in the poll rated their service as "Great" compared to 94.1% of Cuckoo customers in the MSE poll.shiraz99 said:
I get that which is why I mentioned the Now BB package, which is a good deal cheaper than Cuckoo even taking the set up fees into account.HaroldWren5 said:
I believe that most of the providers charge a set up fee for 1 month contracts for a new line unless one is already with them. Including NOW broadband which is £65. They usually include an Openreach/Wholesaler charge. This is often waived when the contract is longer. Cuckoo has a £60 set up fee for 1 month contracts and zero set up fee for a 12 month contract. The poster was asking about a potential broadband solution for a 3 month period. Thus a monthly rolling contract would seem the best bet versus a 12, 18, 24 month contract.shiraz99 said:
Don't they charge a £60 up front activation fee too?HaroldWren5 said:james_williamson_6544 said:Hi,
I need a broadband package for roughly 3 months - however all contracts are 18 months with heavy termination fees.
What are my options?
For fixed line broadband, your best bet is probably Cuckoo Broadband with their 30 day rolling contracts.
Alternatively, 4G mobile broadband (using a hotspot) which can be on 30 day contracts also.-1 -

My recommendations are self explanatory if you read what I wrote in my posts. Before you tell others to read yours, perhaps you ought to follow your own advice and read what others typed before claiming things make no sense.0
