I am not familar with this area at all but I think that you would have been able to park nearby on the street on Sunday. So why would anyone park at Nando's if they were not going back to purchase when they opened? It does not make sense.
    Exactly this!
There was plenty of free parking I could have used and in hindsight should have but I had every intention of being a customer. They sent a whole load of photos of me parking and returning but nothing showing me going up to the front door and communicating with a staff member inside through the glass, even though I told them I would be on camera doing that.

    See their reply below....

But who are they to say if you were a patron of Nandos or not, and if you intended to use Nandos why would you park anywhere else?
You seem to be giving in to the bullies now.

Thanks guys. You think I should ask for the SAR now or wait until a small claim?

No need to wait before sending the parking company a Subject Access Request.

    Client Ref: 6
    TNC Ref: P
    Total Balance: 170.00

    Dear Mr N,

Following my last email the above debt has still not been paid nor have you contacted us to discuss arrangements for
    settlement.

It is urgent that you now pay this DIRECTLY TO TNC within the next 7 days.

If payment is not made within the next 7 days we intend to recommend to our Client that they instruct us to investigate your
credit background and that Court proceedings be commenced against you.

If litigation does become necessary you should know that you could be additionally liable for Court fees, statutory interest and
other costs that may be awarded against you by the Court. Also a judgement against you will be a matter of public record for
6 years and could limit your future ability to obtain credit.

We trust the above will not be necessary but unless payment is made to us within the next 7 days you leave me no alternative
    but to proceed.

    visit https://debtors.tncdubbo.com to make payment.

    Full Name -Mr N.

    Yours sincerely,

What did the NEWBIE sticky fourth post tell you to do about debt collector letters?

The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread offers good guidance on how to deal with debt collectors letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.

Why would they investigate your credit background? It seems a bit intrusive and it can affect your credit rating unless it is a soft search. That does not seem right to me.

    Just file the email.
