PCN - Parked in Customer Parking Area Whilst Not Using the Business

NPE make extensive use of CCTV and the photos of your vehicle seem to have been lifted from CCTV camera footage - they are not ANPR shots, and given the height they've been taken from, neither are they handheld camera shots. They must have a moving images record of your car and you around the front of Nandos.I think under GDPR you might be entitled to have copy of the relevant part of video in it entirety. Send them a SAR asking for all video footage taken by their CCTV camera that includes images of you, your passengers (if any) and your vehicle. You'll need to send proof of your ID - a copy of your V5C (logbook) plus a copy of a utility bill showing your address, or the NtK you've received from them should also suffice. There's a link in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, to a SAR template. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

There was plenty of free parking I could have used and in hindsight should have but I had every intention of being a customer. They sent a whole load of photos of me parking and returning but nothing showing me going up to the front door and communicating with a staff member inside through the glass, even though I told them I would be on camera doing that.
See their reply below....
https://ibb.co/xj5RytJBut who are they to say if you were a patron of Nandos or not, and if you intended to use Nandos why would you park anywhere else? You seem to be giving in to the bullies now.4 -
Thanks guys. You think I should ask for the SAR now or wait until a small claim?

Total Balance: 170.00
Dear Mr N,
Following my last email the above debt has still not been paid nor have you contacted us to discuss arrangements for
settlement.
It is urgent that you now pay this DIRECTLY TO TNC within the next 7 days.
If payment is not made within the next 7 days we intend to recommend to our Client that they instruct us to investigate your
credit background and that Court proceedings be commenced against you.
If litigation does become necessary you should know that you could be additionally liable for Court fees, statutory interest and
other costs that may be awarded against you by the Court. Also a judgement against you will be a matter of public record for
6 years and could limit your future ability to obtain credit.
We trust the above will not be necessary but unless payment is made to us within the next 7 days you leave me no alternative
but to proceed.
visit https://debtors.tncdubbo.com to make payment.

What did the NEWBIE sticky fourth post tell you to do about debt collector letters?2
-
The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread offers good guidance on how to deal with debt collectors letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.3

Yes thought so. It was because it was an email. Threw me1

Why would they investigate your credit background? It seems a bit intrusive and it can affect your credit rating unless it is a soft search. That does not seem right to me.
Just file the email.
