I don't even know what that means, the news and weather are unpredictable, what's going on in your account is entirely predictable as you instructed them to do it.eDicky said:Yes, when I want a quick look at what is going on with my account, during a spare moment or for whatever reason, I do want it to be quick. Just as when I check the weather or the news, the apps open immediately.
Nice to have such a predictable financial life I guess. Personally I like to quickly check that I've received what someone says they've paid me, while they're still on the line, among other benefits of an instantly opening app. That's (one reason) why I prefer Starling Bank.
Evolution, not revolution2 -
One I can think of (although it's now not really applicable with the £5 limit & high energy bills)7sefton said:What are the loopholes on the 123 account you’re talking about?
Some energy providers allow you to inflate your DD, then refund you. So you can click a bit more cashback1 -

Exactly.
But this is not the first time and not the only person on MSE defending poorly designed bank apps, websites, nonsensical hard searches, and many more. As if their goal was just to be in opposition to you, nothing more.

RESOLVE ISSUES: Simple for them to resolve an issue, seems not..... numerous live chats / letters saying it is resolved..... it's not, I give up............ In March £300.79 spent on the same day under the 7% cashback offer. Cashback received £10.56......... that is not 7%.0

What were the conditions of the cashback offer? Was there a maximum amount on which cashback would be paid?HumberFlyer said:RESOLVE ISSUES: Simple for them to resolve an issue, seems not..... numerous live chats / letters saying it is resolved..... it's not, I give up............ Did you raise a formal complaint? If yes, when did you raise it, what was Santander's response, and when? If no, why not?0 -
I've found Santander's app one of the better ones. I also like that their ATM's have contactless functionality so you don;t have to insert your card, I'm not aware of other banks who have these. Also you can use their contactless ATM's in Spain free of charge and not have the possibility of the machine eating your card
What could they do better? Maybe the app could send you push notifcations on spending and card use ?0 -
First off, I am told (live chat) that it is on £30 spend only ....I told them it is not. Then they tell me it is one purchase only.... I told them it is not. Eventually after getting a ticket number to go to the right department to sort. I get a message + email saying it would be paid end of april..... it wasn't. Went through just the same thing following month, same procedure the , it will be paid end of may..... it wasn't.Daliah said:

Have they hired TSB's programmers to do their updates ? The website is incredibly slow, log in keeps timing out and going to the website unavailable page. Transition between pages is also slow.
