They clearly thought they would lose the PoPLA appeal.
It costs them money to PoPLA to defend themselves against your appeal and it looks like they decided that would be throwing good money after bad.2 -
Do you think they've got scared by the evidence I've provided (as per my original post) that there's no signageI don't think anything scares PE, they're currently bouncing back from having their HQ go up in flames. But they'll still be hammering motorists left, right and centre today, tomorrow and next week.The one thing with PE, unlike the vast majority of PPCs, they apply some brainpower to operations and know when to walk away from potentially losing situations. And still make millions of pounds of profit every year!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I would guess the sign has been rotated at some point (so originally the 30 min max faced the relevant spaces), but even then it wouldn't be particularly clear.1
