Flight cancelled - extraordinary circumstances

Was waiting to board easyJet flight to Lisbon from Bristol, 10 minutes before boarding they cancelled it, stating extraordinary circumstances and an IT failure that has grounded 2000 flights. What are my rights? We also have airport parking and an Airbnb. Will they also refund the return flight? In the T and Cs it says they won’t refund for what they consider extraordinary circumstances….

You get your flight refunded but no compensation etc.

Isn't EasyJet IT having issues today? I think a lot of flights have been cancelled.

This is clearly their issue and therefore their responsibility to pay compensation for the last-minute cancellation. Extraordinary means outside their control, their IT is their problem!0
