It really is @LittleMissDetermined! So far I have managed to sell items totalling £45.40! Cannot wait for that to be released to me in increments so it counts as an additional PAD after my normal PAD
It's gone from being a sloth sort of day to an incredibly productive one for all of us! The morning was spent lolling about the place and then after lunch I made the decision thoroughly clean my bedroom and for the children to do theirs. If i had £1 for every time they told me they had finished, I wouldn't have any debt! Took them both just over 2 hours (after a few strops) but I wanted to stand firm and make a point of looking after what we have and how tidiness brings you inner happiness. Lots of things went in the bin, a good few clothing items from each of us and a few toys went on VintedTabletops, dressers and drawers disinfected, beds changed, rooms hoovered and carpets sprayed with some heavenly freshener! Feel sooo much better!
Korma curry for this evening before heading to the neigh neigh, then another quiet night in watching good old Criminal Minds. I am obsessed! It's compulsory for me to watch at least one episode an evening at the moment as I love it! May prove difficult to fit this in alongside studying on an evening once back from holidayDebt Remaining: £8,781.53

Hello! Well done on having a good clean and sort out! I love nothing better. I'm always jealous when people say they're having a sort out as I've reached the optimum about of things now - I still manage to declutter clothes when the children out grow them and yhe odd item or two but that's about as good as it gets 😄 my home is that minimal I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed with my freezer being full, I'm just not used to it!
Saw you'd been watching Criminal minds and had to give you a virtual high five! I loved watching CMs when we had netflix or prime ( can't remember which one) xx

I wish I could catch your decluttering and selling mojo.
I am too sluggish at the moment

Ps. Re the PAD do you just transfer money to your CC as our finance deal says we have to notify them before we make an additional payments ( Barcla& partner finance) which makes me think PAD ing us out the question lol as I don't have time for that! X1

Morning @Deleted_User! Yes there is something so therapeutic about getting down and dirty with clearing out stuff you don't need
The only catch with me is that I have to be in the right mood for it (doesnt come round often). So when I do catch the clear out vibes, I am 1000% all over it until it diminishes a few hours later! I'd love to have a minimalistic home like you mentioned. That would be very visually appealing to me. YESSS another CM fan! Think I have a crush on almost all the cast! Special place in my heart for Reid and Garcia though!
It's tough to find the motivation sometimes isnt it @Tiredbutdetermined? My streaks of wanting to clean and declutter don't come around very often so I know the feeling all too well. I think the financial side of me is giving me regular slaps round the face which helps!
Regarding the PAD's I am making @Adeley, I make faster payments to my CC's each day just like transferring money to any other personThat really sucks if that's in your contract
Perhaps still make PAD's but into a 'CC pot' and at the end of every month inform them of your bulk transfer and do it in one lump sum?
Well another morning and this time the sun is screaming! Beautiful but very windy! Already made my regular 5.30am trip to the nag to throw her out in the field and muck out. Its becoming habit now to come home from the stables, make a coffee and make my daily diary entry on here alongside my PAD. Love a new habit (when its healthy)!
My PAD for today is a lovely £3 to CC2 (Virgin). My £1 refund came through from Matalan after trying to find a swimsuit that fits meReturned the original and saw one more that I thought I would give a go. Turns out it fits and £1 cheaper
I decided not to buy a grazing muzzle in the end yesterday as they are £26 and I had one alternative thing to try that I already own. Fingers crossed this can be a long term solution for preventing the nag from sucking on the farmers posts!
My normal £20 payment from my part loaner (horse related) has yet to come through as its normally transferred on a Friday. I use this to by bedding and always have a few £££ change which I will put to my CC tomorrow no doubt.
Apparently there is a local funfair and the kids have not let me forget about it since a neighbour came and invited us to go with them a few days ago. We never really attend these sorts of events as they are never local to us so I shall head to a cashpoint and draw out £20 so they can have £10 each to spend on whatever they choose there. My pooch also has his regular full groom which costs £55 a time. He is a big hairy white German Shepherd x Samoyed so you can imagine the hair! He gets this once every 2 months as his coat is so dense. Luckily I set up a 'grooming' pot and each week £6 is automatically transferred here so I have the full amount ready and waitingMe and DD have a rare hair appointment today for just the ends to be snipped so hoping that doesn't come to more than £25. Partner is due home from his family trip to Wales today so will be nice to see him. Won't lie, I have enjoyed being the only adult in the home!
Have a great day folks! xDebt Remaining: £8,781.53

It sounds like a fun day but satisfying that it is all accounted for.
I keep meaning to set up a bank account with pots as I am still operating with a slightly fictional budget and just dealing with non-monthly costs as they arise.
enjoy the hair and fair!

Yes to a crush on them on haha! I miss watching it!
Re decluttering I became quite fixated on seeing what else we didn't need and now we have clear sides and I look forward to the day we move so I can reap the rewards of not having lots to pack. It was a long process to get here though, I'd say 2 years and it's ongoing to keep our inventory to a minimum.

Morning
Weather is forecast to pee it down all day alongside some nasty !!!!!! wind so it's a fairly miserable Sunday!
Yesterday was the spend day I predicted£54 to the groomers, £10 for hair (they forgot about me so only my daughter got done so saved £15 there), withdrew £20 from cash machine for activities at the mini fun fair. Still have £10 left so that's not too bad. However, I did treat the minions to a McDonalds as it's been a while for tea whilst waiting to pick up the pooch.
I had £61 in my dog grooming pot so I have transferred the £54 spent back to my current account and the £7 I have put into the Virgin CC pot with the round up pennies so that can also be added to the big PAD the day before payday. I have just been looking at my pots and it also turns out that I have an extra £50 in my 'Stable Rent' pot so that is also being transferred to the CC2 pot for the big PAD payment.
This morning my bank account was a nice round number for a healthy £5 was sent to CC2 for the daily PAD. I can't believe how well I am doing! Amazing really how long you plod along for paying the minimum for years and years.. feels sooooo good to be almost at payday knowing from the looks of things I should be able to make a big PAD of around £432EEEEKKKKKK praying I can get near this amount. If so, I will have paid off 19.31% of CC2!
No firm plans today ... will probably potter about. Have one more parcel to send from selling on Vinted and then dog to walkDebt Remaining: £8,781.53

I am still waiting to receive a refund of £56.06 from a swimwear company but it has been almost 3 weeks and still nothing! Their customer service is appalling! No contact number, only an email to which they never respond to. I have had to resort to sending a fb message for contact. Not happy at all but there is nothing I can doAt the moment I think I shall have to face facts and come to terms with that money never coming back
