Washing Away My Debts By 2024

Evening @Squirrelz92
I have just finished your diary and you are doing amazingly, i think everyone has those times when they think its starting to slow down or the motivation is going, just try and think even if you can only make £1 payments more than fhe minimum your still getting it down and your debt isnt increasing which imo is the hardest part for me anyway, actually spending my money and not my credit cards money.
As for the horrible woman, i agree i hate confrontation so i dont instead i like to kill them with kindness, big false smile half looking through them and the happiest good morning ever whilst not slowing down to talk. It may seem immature but i cant do what they do but I can be nice (or at least seemingly nice)...and what are they going to say gossipwise....squirrel walked past me smiling and saying hello.....
Good luck with the studying and also with the job hunting, fingers crossed4 -
Awww bless you for reading my diary @getridofdebt666
it’s getting so long now so it’s wonderful to know people are still happy to read from the start! I love reading from beginning to end on everyone’s diaries as otherwise I feel as though I’ve missed so many big events through someone’s journey!
Yes I definitely agree with youI suppose me putting aside £1 a day into my CC2 pot instead of throwing it straight to CC2 is the same thing, I’m just being more cautious incase I need those funds
Managed to make a PAD of £2.54 to my CC2 pot this morning as the uneven balance was driving me mad!
My partner is sending across his second wod of bill contribution funds tomorrow so that shall bump me up a little. Trying to be so aware of what I’m spending. Normally I would have at least bought a cold drink from the cafe at work by now but I haven’t so a bit proud thereno doubt I will treat myself to one at some point this week but that’s ok as it’s better to spend £1 than £5!
Managed to get the horse into the field without a fight on the road this morning 😂 took my handy whip as protection! Obviously didn’t use it on any horses!!! A simply loud tap on the gate with it is more than enough to get the little swines to back away far enough so me and Arwen can get in safely 😂
My son is back to his football training this evening after 3 weeks off (club shut for a break). Will be nice to see him back doing his thing. Season starts again next month so I’m looking forward to spending Sunday mornings watching matches!Debt Remaining: £8,781.53

Small diary update.
PAD made of £2.08 to CC2 potReceived £150 this morning from my partner for bill contribution.
Mum invited me to Formby beach again on Saturday so me and the kids shall drive there early morning for a family gathering again seeming as the weather is supposed to be gorgeous! Shall pack a little picnic and take the dogwill enjoy digging him a cool hole in the sand to lie in with an umbrella keeping him in the shade. That plus a big carton full of water and a wet sea towel and he should be happy
Balto has the groomers on Saturday so we need to be away from the beach by 2pm at the latest. Again I have been saving for this expense over the last 9 weeks so have the funds all ready to useDebt Remaining: £8,781.53

A day at the beach sounds lovely especially in this weather, hope you have a lovely day, i usually freeze a bottle of squash the night before in a 2 litre pop bottle and it freezes gradually over the day so nice cool pop for hours!
Well done on your PADs, how did you son get on at football? Hope he enjoyed it!2 -
Very much looking forward to it @LittleMissDetermined & @Getridofdebt66
Great idea for the bottle in the freezer!
He is happy to be back training and they are looking to arrange some friendly matches before the season kicks in but with it being the summer holidays, there are never enough kids at training to make a full team so sadly won't be able to I don't thinkAfter next Wednesday, DS won't be there for 2 weeks as he is down south with my Mum so I can work.
PAD of £6.34 today which has gone straight to CC2 as I cashed out from ProlificHave also sent £5 into my CC2 pot to contribute towards an overpayment on payday eve. Current account isn't looking too bad at the moment. Worked out that week 4 of the period I will have a decent wod of income which should hopefully leave me with a few pennies to spare for perhaps a £100 OP but we shall see!
Treating myself as usual today to 3 sausages and some beans for my Friday fry up at work. Costs roughly £1.30 so can't complain. May grab a drink as a treat too as I never normally buy from the subsidised canteen. Friday is treat day at work!

Morning,
Very busy weekend! Headed to Formby beach to see family on Saturday and my god was it hot! Perfect timing for the sea to be at high tide at lunchtime so we all managed a swim! I have never seen a strip of beach so crowded with people. Honestly felt like sardines in a tin. Made me a little anxious as I do enjoy my bubble but needs must. We had to head home at 1.45 as the pooch had his full groom at 3pm and it was a 45 min drive back pending traffic. Ended up not feeling well at all for the rest of the day so did the bare minimum, necked some tablets and hoped for the best. Heatstroke is soooo not nice
Thankfully some sleep killed off the majority of feeling crappy on Sunday so we did the food shop as per normal; £36 for the week so not bad at all! £50 spent on diesel for the week as per normal. My son needed new astroturf trainers for his football practice and games once the season starts again next month so we headed into the city centre to grab a pair. Ended up looking at the majority of shops but didn’t buy anything else£27.99 for the shoes which were on sale and should last the next year. My partner did end up buying me another two regatta fleece jumpers to complete my colour collection as they were on sale in GoOutdoooooors for 2 for £12!
After paying £54 for my dogs full groom I had £3 left in that designated pot so transferred that to my CC2 fund.Made a PAD of £25 to CC2 this morning as my DD came outshall update signature soon.
Hope everyone had a fab weekend! Cannot wait for it to rain for the next week now 🎉🎉🎉Debt Remaining: £8,781.53

Decided to just whack it to CC2 so that’s bumped it up a teeny tiny amount 😂Debt Remaining: £8,781.53
