That’s interesting you’ve chosen to do that. Can you explain a bit more why? Surely you would save a bit more keeping with that tariff or are you taking a gamble the price cap won’t rise by 54%. My thinking is it will definitely be at least a 54% rise otherwise the sunak package wouldn’t have been as strongCRISPIANNE3 said:
Based on todays events I have cancelled the fix. I do not qualify for the £650 payment but will get the £400 and the extra WFA payment of £300 so should be able to weather the storm.Mstty said:
Are you going to review today after the government's announcement on help with energy bills?CRISPIANNE3 said:Some many times I have thought in recent days should I fix my electricity or not. However today I have taken the plunge and fixed with BG for the fix until July 31 2023. For me it's the most sensible thing to do.

That’s interesting the cost worked out more expensive for me than v1Goji08 said:Yes, saw that. It is actually cheaper than v.1. Some positive news at least with government backed support for winter.
V1 expired, I was waiting for today's news to change. When I logged on, its been taken off.
V2, is £150+ more than V1.
My variable tariff ends 31/07/22.
So do I got for V2 now and wait? Its only likely to go up more with a V3 surely?0 -
