Small tea bags

I'll admit it. I like my tea pretty weak.
It seems terribly wasteful to yank the tea bags out of the cup before they have really brewed much. I then throw them away, as I'm not MSE enough to reuse them.
Is there anywhere that does tea bags with say half the normal amount of tea in them, please?

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

what a good idea! I am sure there were some "one cup tea bags" at some point - designed for when people stopped using teapots and used mainly mugs ... but suspect they are now exactly the same as a standard teabag

Loose leaf and a leaf holder, or basket in the top of the mug?

I hate strong tea as wellI get the cheapest one cup bags out there. Morrisons or Tesco everyday ones are ok, but like everything else they continue to rise in price.Rather than throw the tea out, put it in the compost - without the bag though. For nicer tea I use a holder but they are messy to clean. For my sleep tea, which has flowers in it and is fiddlier to put into a holder, I use disposable tea bags like these. more or less £2.99 for 100.“You’re only here for a short visit.

Oh dear. Am I now the only person in the universe who still uses loose leaf tea and teapot? So much nicer …9

No you're not. We use loose tea and so does my sister.

Loose leaf for me in a mesh cup that sits inside the mug. When done I put it in a small glass and use it about 3 times over before replacing the tea.
but I never use milk in my tea so happy to reuse the leaves.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?4 -
We use loose leaf but also use teabags occasionally. DH and I will "share" a teabag as we don't like strong tea. DD1 on the other hand likes really strong builders tea-the kind that stains the mug.4

We use teabags in a pot and as we don't like very strong tea one teabag makes 4 cups of tea. We half fill the teapot and pour out a cup each and then refill the pot and cover and will then have another cup each a little later.
If we're in the motorhome we don't have a pot so we just share the one teabag.
Boxes of teabags certainly last much longer for us than they do for my DD and her partner who like much stronger tea - her partner leaves the teabag in the mug to get it even stronger!

One of the posh tea brands, might be Teapigs, uses not enough tea in their bags IMO, but they are so expensive it defeats the object.I've started using PG Tips because their bags don't have plastic in. I hoik mine out before the milk goes in, and use it for a second cup.Make £2025 in 2025

If there's more than one of us I use leaves but when on my own I use the teabag twice - so pleased I'm not the only one. My daughter says this is disgusting!
