  • I got a box on wheels SH so I think it's slightly different from Gail's one. The file folders sit on top rather than in a groove.
  • 40 cm wide and 31 cm high SH. It's a 54litre capacity box

    :D:D:D How very dare it!
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

  • I kept forgetting to open the damn thing as well 🤣🤣🤣
  • Setting up for a TTDUP style budget in January.

  • Banging my head against the wall making yet another budget. I cut out prescription costs by just buying the vitamin d in the health food shop. I don't have utility costs this month as I am in credit due to the cost of living measures.
I'm not entirely sure I'd say it's organised and progress is painfully slow. But hopefully it will all start to make sense to me at some point.
I think I'll be making the minimum payments next month until I can make sure I get to the end of January with everything paid and money left over.

Meeting the minimums is the right place to start - and then you look well set to get organised from there. Love your little boxes. I mostly spend online so going to cash wouldn't really work for me - I'm trying to work out what an equivalent would look like for me though so I reduce my fritter spend.

  • Yeah I was thinking that as well SH, I don't have a lot of cash spending typically. I was thinking I would get prepaid debit cards if I was doing a full on challenge with groceries etc. I had plans to use a bike subscription app in January but if I can't get it cash or free I'll leave it.

A while ago I used a R3v0lut card for that. PM me if you want a referral link. I am debating whether to go back to that for personal spends - however I have lots of bank accounts - so could divide spends by acct. Rev also let me assign purchases to a type of spend. Not used them much recently though. Some people have issues and prefer the Star1ing acct. Not sure what options exist where you are.
