    That's not good about the lies, no wonder you are angry.

    Your nephew and the fireworks, plus the fish and pineapple fritters are definitely better news. Everyone deserves a chippy dinner once in a while.

    And however yucky some aspects of the day were, you had a better outcome than the slug. Always something to be grateful for.  :D

    That made me laugh Cherry. I do think the slug survived, it had slimed its way onto the arch of my foot rather than being stood on as it were. 
    You would not have liked the driveway last night Stymied, there were three in about 2 square feet. 
    I was quick to anger yesterday PiP- but the positive is now I can recognise what emotional state it is lol.
    The email checking came to nowt as no quote appeared. It's Saturday now so unlikely to hear anything for another couple days.
    I think yesterday was a good example of something I read in the book Flourishing about reinforcing positive experience. It is so easy to feel negative states that they take priority over the slower, sweeter positive ones.
