I've been unable to get meter readings from a year ago- the igloo energy redirects to eon next account meter reading history which only goes back to april.

So I've just changed my tarriff, based on the premise that it's 31% higher, lower than the 40%+ that's predicted. But apparently a whopping £3300 annunually :(

I really haven't got a clue if it was the right move and cant get any advice apart from that received here, but I do know my dd wasnt high enough and would have gone up anyway. We've already started trying to stop using so much electric, though my wife isnt great at it (not using the tumbledryer, leaving tv on with no-one in the room etc etc). sigh. But i guess at least we'll know what we're paying now each month for the next year.

If anyone think i may have made a bad move please let me know as presumably theres a cooling off period.

If you use more energy than was estimated then the DD can go up. It's the price per kWh that's fixed, not the DD amount.

Good news is, if you use less than estimated the DD might go down  :D

Tell your Mrs that her hair looks lovely natural, much better than when she's used hairdryer/tongs/straighteners  Could save you a bit more ;)
