    Have a look at the first few posts on page 2.  The OP acknowledges that the title plans show straight lines and that the garage is on the neighbour's land.
    It is Ok, I remember that.  I also remember an unresolved discussion about whether the presence of the garage for an extended period of time may have had an impact on ownership of the land, and why the neighbour allowed it in the first place.

    Rather than assuming the plans are correct and demolishing the garage without further thought, if I were the OP I would be making enquiries about the land ownership and RoW status before doing anything which disturbs the status quo.

    Plans are not always correct.
