I'd completely forgotten that they were so stupid that they pleaded their claim for £160 only.
Not £160 x 8 and not even a list of 8 different dates! Several different allegations but not matched to dates or PCN numbers.
It's a right mess! No wonder they discontinued, what with that plus your detailed WS.
Even if they'd won this case, if you pointed that out, the fact is they only asked for '£100 plus £60' as the claim in the final sentences of the POC on the left.
Would you mind showing the LBC for £800 too (redact your data). I think the £800 LBC followed by this wildly enhanced claim shows the abuse of multi-PCN cases and that there was no extra work at pre-action stage and they didn't even ask for added fees in the LBC.
Great evidence for the DLUHC.
The case is over so they aren't 'live' letters in any case. But do of course redact your data.

Here's LBC I received well over a year ago.
At this stage I was still new to the process so forgive me for the way I've taken the photo. I do not have the letter anymore to take the photo again.
Oh I'd forgotten to tell you that I have received their WS in the post today. It's over 60/70 pages long. I am sure they've tried to justify everything in there. If you'd like me to scan and post it, I can do that too.
We have been blessed with so much ammunition for the WAR!

They did a 70 page WS, printed and posted it then suddenly discontinued an 8 PCN case? Wow. Such a messed up case.
Your WS must have persuaded them to give up. These firms look for weak victims, ideally who don't respond or just don't know how to defend.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Indeed! I believe they were hoping that I would not submit WS from my part and that they would walk all over this.
I delayed my WS in hopes that I receive something so that I can pick apart their WS. It may have worked in my favour causing them to discontinue as they did not get a chance to pick apart my WS apart either.
I guess we will never know!
Nevertheless, let me know if you'd like to read their WS.
