Unfortunately many people wont read the Terms as closely and the sales person wont be highlighting the contract increases. Whichever way you look at it if you buy a contract in March and it goes up the very next month that's not in the interest of the consumer.0

In the case of Zen, you don't avoid them, you pay them from the start. They have built in assumed inflation costs into the total contract price and just amortised it across the contract term. Some years you may win if the RPI spikes, but many years you lose if it doesn't.Deleted_User said:
I already stated I have price for life with Zen and use 30 day SIMO contracts so I can avoid price raises mid term.
With Zen you are already paying a premium over many ISP's but they are well rated, so many consider that money well spent.1 -
Yes, Zen is a quality product and I save money in other areas of my life so I can pay for good quality broadband. That is the real MSE way after all and not necessarily going for the cheapest of everything.400ixl said:

I'm with Zen as well for Broadband. Its not a massive amount over other similar offerings for me and to get those better prices I used to have to jump around providers, look for cashback etc which gets tiresome every 1-2yrs. Plus since moving to working from home full time I am happy to pay extra for a reliable service and decent support. Admittedly Zen cant do much about the Openreach copper pairs to my house but so far 1yr in its been 100% reliable and the provided FritzBox router is much better than the rubbish that BT and Plusnet provided (the latter used to make screeching noises everytime someone was on 5G wifi).Deleted_User said:
