Also @Squeezylupin, you may want to advise the dentist (politely) that, should their agent take this all the way to a court claim, then you will calling the practice to appear so they need to provide the name(s) and date(s) when that person (those people) will be unavailable to attend court.
It might focus their minds a bit, since court cases are mostly a matter of public record...2 -

I am unsure how to word the next email to the dentist, so am going to do it over a few days, maybe after i get a reply from Boultee Brook.1
