Morning everyone, i just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all, i am in the middle of reading the newbie section and it appears i have already made some mistakes in dealing with my no return, parking charge, received by post 😔. I have no clue what i am doing, as evidenced by my mistakes so far ie admitting it was me driving both times as i had a double appointment at the dentist, 2.5 hours apart (parked in dentist own car park both times), i suppose because i didn,t realise i wasn,t supposed to use the dentists own car park both times, so felt confident they would just say 'Ahh, right, i see you have evidenced you legitimately had business parking there, sorry, your fine is quoshed'...see? Told you i was a niaive newbie, didn,t realise that ArdPark were just a bunch of aggressive ****.
After reading on here, i have emailed the dentist who sent me copies of my appointments as evidence for my initial appeal, which was obviously turned down, i emailed the dentist again yesterday asking who the landowner is who employed ardpark and that my appeal had been turned down. I asked the dentists, also, why when they gave me the double appointment they failed to say i wouldn,t be permitted to park the second time in their car park. I will see what they say.
So far, having trolled through your threads and tried to follow the newbie section, i see where i have gone wrong but i will keep reading and try to keep up the advice there.
Once again, thank you so much.

Why do you say you weren't allowed to park for the second visit? Do the signs say 'no return within x hours'?
Or were you accidentally using a non customer or permit/staff car park both times?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Are you still in time to launch an appeal to ArdPark. If so, use the initial appeal (it's in blue text) in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, first post.

As it turns, out, unbeknowns to me, the ticket is for 'returned within non-permitted return period', my dental appointments were booked by the dentist (they have just started making crowns on-site, as opposed to waiting for 3 weeks having them built elsewhere), they rang me and told me i just need the first appointment for prep (9.30am) and back for 12.10pm for the fitting, they never mentioned i wasn,t allowed to repark there, they just told me to go off for a coffee and come back, so i left approx 10.10 and returned at approx12pm.
There must be a sign somewhere but didn,t even look for one at the time as i was visiting the dentist.1 -

Lots of points about there being sufficient signage, photographic evidence (1 photo of the front of my car and 1 photo of the back of my car) and saying they have authority from the landowner to manage the car park.1 -
What did the dentists say when you complained to them about their ludicrous parking arrangements?

My fault for not reading car parking notices right? Even though the car park is for patrons of the dentist. Silly moo.0

Can you get photos of the signage and post here so we can see what the wording says.Is it the dental practice who has contracted ArdPark to issue tickets there? Can you find out? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Well, well, well. Have a look at the directors of ArdPark here on the Companies House register, then do a Google search on the name of the female director. Look at how they can dish it out, but seemingly not keen on being at the receiving end of financial extortion!
