Lovely coming back home to sunshine and warm weather.Today has found me mowing my parents grass and then taking dad to the shops . He was exhausted by the time he came back to the car. He can't accept that he is 84 and the warm weather affects him. He was going to go on the bus , which involved a 10 min walk. However I think he was glad I waited for him today.DGS2 is having his usual sleep so I am having a rest. His other grandma is home tonight from another month away , so I will have Wednesday free again. We have been offered a 7% pay rise plus an extra days leave this year, we have already had a cost of living payment . It all helps anyway it comes .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Wednesday again and child and parent free today. Other grandma is back on duty now and parents are away on the South Coast.Work was very busy this week for my two days, lots of change of staff on our team but hopefully it will settle down again once new people are all trained up.Have spent sometime this morning doing home admin, my fuel bill credit is starting to rise nicely for winter. I am keeping my payment at £114 a month even though Shell suggest lowering it to £86.Yesterday I took delivery of my new to me car 6 yrs old with 23500 miles on the clock, previous owner an elderly gentleman who has taken good care of it. Paid for in cash that I have saved. Need to take it for a motorway run some point over the next couple of days.Been an expensive week paying for car insurance, Road tax etc.
Today I am meeting a friend for coffee in the big shopping centre .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3 -

What a lovely day it has been.Parents back from their trek, it took 9 hours to get home from down south.
Taken my dad shopping this morning, been to the hairdresser. Then back to take my mum shopping for the bits she wanted. We went to the garden centre for two dwarf conifers , and a few other plants for mum . She is a very keen gardener , but it didn't rub off on me.Tomorrow I have a 8am walk with my friend planned . Then I will be childminding for a few hours whilst DD and DGD go to a dancing competition. My tax refund for my old car today so that has been deposited in the car pot.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
A another beautiful day here , up early for a stroll with a friend . Coffee maybe involved I guess.I will need to get ready for the week ahead when I get home , make food for work tomorrow as in the office as usual.Everyone enjoy the sun whilst it lasts.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2
